Wristband Pick-Up

Before you can enter the festival, you will need to exchange your ticket for an RFID wristband. These wristbands are how you enter the festival each day, and will also be your method of payment for all food, drinks, and activities offered on-site.

To pick up your wristband, you will be required to show government-issued photo identification that matches the name printed on the ticket(s). You must be at least 18 years old to attend the festival.

Wristbands are placed directly on the wrist of each person. The box office will not distribute loose wristbands. If you purchased multiple tickets under one name, all of the people in your group must be present.

Re-Entry Policy

All wristbands will be allowed to enter and exit the festival grounds twice each day. This means you can exit the festival and come back once. If you leave a second time, you will not be allowed to re-enter the festival.

Money

Oasis is a cashless festival, which means your wristband is the only payment method accepted for on-site transactions. There are two top-up points on the festival site where you can purchase credits to spend at Oasis. These top-up points take cash (Dirhams, Euros, Dollars, and British Pounds), and credit cards. ATMs are located at the reception, next to the merch store.

Food + Drinks

At Oasis, you’ll be able to experience the best cuisine Morocco has to offer. 2017 food vendors will be announced this summer.

As far as drinks go, a wide variety of beverages (including beer, wine, liquor, and non-alcoholic) will be served at bars across the festival grounds. The Champagne Bar will be located in the Secret Garden this year, and champagne will be available by the glass at one additional bar.

Safety + Medical

There is nothing we care more about than your safety and well-being. As such, doctors and paramedics will be on-site to help you with any type of medical problem. If you need assistance, go to the medical area located under the DJ Booth at the Desert Oasis, or look for a festival staff member. Please don’t be afraid to stop by the medical tent – even if you just have a question.

If you see anyone at the festival who appears to be in need of medical assistance, please inform a member of our medical or security team, or even help him/her find their way to the medical tent. We are all in this together, so please look out for one another! Lastly, anyone bringing medication or a syringe for medical purposes will need to show your medication, prescription and a photo ID at the festival entrance.

Everybody will be subject to search entering the festival site. Our primary goal is to create a safe and secure environment for all festival attendees. To ensure this, there will be on-site security provided by local police and private security. If you are experiencing any problems whatsoever, locate a festival staff member.

Set Times

Set times for the festival will be released through the mobile app in late summer.

Bag Check

If you wish to lighten your load during the festival, visit the bag check station to store your belongings during the festival. Bag check is located on the entrance pathway, next to the merch store.

Lost + Found

If you lose something while at the festival, check with the Lost and Found, located in the hotel reception, between bag check and the merch store.

Buying Tickets

What types of tickets are available?

Opening Party tickets grant admission to our event on Thursday night, as well as access to our free shuttle, a swimming pool, food vendors, and much more.

Weekend passes do not include admission to the Opening Party on Thursday night, and vice versa.

Why are there different prices for the same pass?

Yes, tickets can be purchased with a Moroccan credit card through ticket.ma (Opening Party / Weekend Pass)

Travel + Lodging

Where to Fly Into

Marrakech Menara International Airport (RAK) is the main airport serving the Marrakech region and should be your first choice when attending Oasis. Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) is around 3 hours away by car (longer by train), but it is the busiest airport in Morocco and your next best choice. More information about both airports can be found on our Airports page.

For information about getting around Morocco, local customs, visas, and more, visit our Essential Info page.

Where To Stay

Getting to Oasis

Festival Location

Oasis is located at the Source Hotel on Km 10 of Route D’Ourika, in the direction of the Atlas Mountains from Marrakech. The festival takes place entirely within the hotel grounds. Check out our Venue page for more information about the location.

How To Get There

Shuttle / The best way to get to and from Oasis is by taking the shuttle, which will run between the venue and select hotels within the Agdal and Hivernage neighborhoods in Marrakech. The shuttle is free for all Oasis ticket holders. For the map and hours, please visit our Shuttle page.

Taxi / Taxis cost roughly 200 DH between Marrakech and The Source. Sometimes, taxi drivers will need directions to get to The Source: Take Route D’Ourika, and make a left where you see signs for The Source, La Plage Rouge, and Del Sol (around Km 10). Follow the road until it reaches a dead end and turn left. Take this road, which will turn from pavement to dirt, until you reach a sign for The Source (it’s small), and make a left. Go straight until you reach the festival.

Driving / We highly encourage you to take the shuttle or a taxi, especially if you plan on drinking, but for those wishing to drive to the festival, free parking is available on-site. If you feel unfit to drive when leaving the festival, you may leave your car in the parking lot overnight and take the shuttle to the city.

Our staff will place wristbands directly on the wrist of each person. The box office will not distribute loose wristbands.

Wristbands cannot be scanned for entry more than twice each day.
