19 Jul Oasis Festival Final Lineup Announced: Jackmaster, Joy Orbison, Modeselektor and More!
The finishing touches to the Oasis 2017 lineup have finally been added, and we couldn’t be more excited about the acts that we’re bringing to The Source in Marrakech from September 14-17th!
With languid days spent chilling by the crystalline pool, shifting into deeper driving vibes under the stars, we’ve curated an eclectic blend of the world’s best DJs to make sure that your trip to the Oasis is unlike any festival experience you’ve ever had.
We’ve got Glaswegian selector and runner-up in RA’s 2016 poll Jackmaster going back-to-back with Axel Boman, the masterful Swedish DJ/producer and one half of Talaboman. Boman’s fellow countryman and Studio Barnhus label mate Kornél Kovács will be going b2b with UK dub house maestro Joy Orbison.
Saturday night was set to be dominated by techno legend and Ellum founder Maceo Plex, but we’ve stepped things up by adding a very special DJ set from hugely influential German electro aggressors Modeselektor, who’ll be channeling the acerbic sounds of their seminal label 50 Weapons into the Sahara. Rising NYC-based DJ/producer Matt Medved will be kicking things off by the pool on Saturday, and bringing the deeper touches of Brooklyn to The Source, while Casablancan/Canadian house hero Driss Skali will be bringing it for a not-to-be-missed homecoming set.
We’re also delighted to announced that the staggeringly talented Belgrade house head and longstanding EXIT Festival figurehead Tijana T will be delivering her neurotic, sultry house vibes on Sunday.
We’re bringing back our popular Wellness Lounge, with yoga, meditation, shady chill out spots, and a cheeky champagne bar to get your afternoon fizz on. To find out all the ways that we have stepped up the festival experience this year, check out our blog post 5 Ways Oasis is Bigger and Better This Year.
If you can’t commit to the full weekend, we’ve just added single day tickets starting at just €79, and you can find out more about them here.
Couple this nuanced lineup of expert selectors and party starters with the luxury boutique experience, and the breathtaking location of Marrakech—the enchanting Red City and gateway to the Atlas Mountains and ancient Berber culture—and you have one of the most exciting destination festivals in the world.
